NEWBORN faqs
- When do I book a newborn session? Typically, sessions should be booked in the 2nd or 3rd trimester. We can solidify the date of the session once the baby has arrived. Plan for the session to be taken within 2 weeks after the baby's birth.
- What is included in a newborn session? Great question! I will provide as many backdrops and poses within your timeframe as possible. Prior to your session, I'll ask you to fill out a questionnaire to give me an idea what colors and props you'd like to use.
- Help! I'm nervous my baby won't cooperate. What do I do if the baby is crying or hungry during the session? As a mom of 3, I understand this concern entirely. Time to feed, change or soothe the baby is included in your time. Your newborn photo session should be a relaxing, memorable experience without making you feel rushed.
- What should I wear to my session? Family members should dress comfortably in layers if necessary. The in-home studio is kept nice and warm for optimal comfort for the baby. Try to avoid loose turtlenecks, large fashion jewelry and anything that may be distracting in the photo.
